A Kansas mom is seeing double — for the third time in 26 months!
Danesha Couch, 20, of Kansas City, officially welcomed her third set of twins last month. Even more impressive? They were all conceived naturally.
“People just consider me like a freak of nature when I tell them,” Couch told Fox 4 News.
So here’s the rundown: Couch delivered her first set of twins 26 months ago. Tragically, one of her baby boys, Desmond, died shortly after birth. Her living children include the surviving twin, 2-year-old Danarius; 1-year-old twin girls, Davina and Delilah; and the tiniest additions, Dalanie and Darla. This newest pair of sisters recently came home after spending three weeks in a neonatal intensive care unit.
And the million-dollar question: Does this busy mama and her fiance plan on trying for her fourth set of twins anytime soon?
“I love babies but maybe in 10 to 15 years, when these ones are big enough to help,” she told Inside Edition.
Your chance of having as many twin pregnancies as Couch, however, are significantly lower. The odds of conceiving three sets of twins are just 1 in 88,000.
Aren’t her children just adorable?
Cuteness aside, just thinking about the logistics of caring for one set of twins is exhausting. (Mad props to all of you amazing twin mamas out there!) But three sets of twins? The pregnancies alone had to be challenging enough, let alone growing a few more pairs of arms to tend to all of those diapers.
This super mom has my utmost respect.
