Who’s been counting the days until season seven of Game of Thrones ?
Unfortunately for all of you die-hard GoT fans, the wait isn’t over just yet. The upcoming season air date has been pushed back until sometime in the summer of 2017, due to the realities of mother nature.
“We’re starting a bit later because at the end of this season, ‘Winter is here’ – and that means that sunny weather doesn’t really serve our purposes any more,” show creators David Benioff and Dan Weiss have revealed. “So we kind of pushed everything down the line, so we could get some grim grey weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot.”
Shooting is underway, and is expected to continue until February, and it will be several months after that before your GoT withdrawal is finally put to an end.
