When shopping for a school lunch box this back to school season you have two options – lunch bag or Bento-style lunchbox.
Lunch bag Pros: Some are washable. You can put together all different types of lunches and aren’t limited to certain types of containers. You can stick an ice pack in to keep your lunch cold.
Bento-style lunchbox Pros: They are easy to clean since many are dishwasher safe. You don’t have to keep track of separate containers. Kids seem to love them.
My preferred solution combines the two. I love to use Easy Lunchboxes (Amazon, $13.95/pack 4) and include one in my child’s lunch bag along with his water cup and any extra snacks he may need that day.
