If you’re like me, you’ve got about a zillion photos saved in a million different places. Your phone. Facebook. Instagram. Your computer.

After welcoming a newborn into our family of four, my photo situation got even more desperate and I had even less time to organize them. This made the task of creating a baby book and announcements seem more daunting than ever.

Thankfully, I had the opportunity to test-drive the All New Shutterfly for our birth announcements. And it was a piece of cake.

Shutterfly

One of my favorite features is Shutterfly makes finding your photos a cinch. I was able to quickly “harvest” my favorite memories from Facebook folders and computer files without ever having to leave Shutterfly’s website — or losing my place in the card-creating process. You can also round up pictures from places like Instagram, Flickr and more.

Something else that stood out during my test drive was how effortless it can be to gather and upload my photos. I decided to download the Shutterfly app and then enable the auto-upload feature  — so I don’t have to worry about uploading months’ worth of pictures at a time in the future. With Shutterfly’s free, unlimited and secure photo storage, camera-happy parents like me can click away without worry. The best part is, you can favorite those photos that you love for future use, and use their smart tagging facial feature to find photos of specific people in your family when creating gifts or cards with them in mind.

Did I mention the creation process is easy? With just a few clicks, I was able to turn my daughter’s newborn photos into gorgeous birth announcements.  In fact, the hardest part about creating these announcements, for me, was choosing a card design. (They’re all so beautiful!) Whether you want to feature one large picture of your sweet bundle or a collage of irresistible shots, the possibilities are endless. I settled on the “Love At First Sight” design — which is one of Shutterfly’s eye-catching foil-stamped options — and went with the default three-photo collage.

Voila! Here’s my finished product. The optional card insert adds even more to the announcement, don’t you think?

And the way the “Love At First Sight” foil detailing catches the light really makes the message pop. I highly recommend the foil-stamped designs.

After test-driving the All New Shutterfly, I think it’s a fantastic option for busy new moms who  want to organize their photos on the fly and have the option to create a beautiful birth announcement that’s convenient and quick — without having to spend a fortune. (Prices start as low as $0.40 for a 4-by-8 photo card.) Plus, I swear I spot a special offer or discount each time I return to begin a new project. Expecting mamas can also opt to pay ahead for their birth announcements with prepaid greeting card packages.

Shutterfly’s birth announcement creation process is easy, fun, and intuitive, so it won’t take you long to get your announcements just the way you envision them. That way, you can focus on making even more memories with your sweet new baby.
